A Surprise Visitor!

Those of you who have read my posts here and here would know that I have been praying and longing that KT should have a personal encounter with Jesus. I’ve been desiring that she should experience Him in a tangible way so that He no longer is an imaginary being we constantly talk about!

Something incredible happened last week. I’ve spent nearly a week thinking how I should pen down this experience, but decided I’m not going to waste more time. I’ll narrate it in the best possible way that I can!

It was last Friday afternoon, KT was down with high fever, cough and tummy pain. The poor girl become very week and helpless. She didn’t even have the slightest strength to sit or stand. My heart broke seeing my bundle of joy that way. I picked her up, put her on my lap and kept singing and praying over her. Soon she drifted to sleep. I put her back on the bed and was carrying out some work in the house.

All of a sudden, I heard KT call me. She was wide awake, seated on the bed. She tried telling me something, but she couldn’t. She kept fumbling for words. I hugged her and put her on my lap. She kept looking at our balcony door that was open and to my shock, she waved her hands as if someone was standing there.

My heart beating a little faster, I asked her, “KT who are you waving at, Chellam?”

She looked at me and said, “Amma, someone came and touch KT!”

She picked my hand and kept pointing at the center of my palm. I instantly perceived it must be Jesus and it must have been His nail pierced hands that touched her!

But to get my doubts cleared, I asked her again, “Who was it, Kuttyma?”

And she replied, “Jesus came, amma. Jesus came and touched KT!”

I was zapped! Literally! Within minutes, she began to sweat and her temperature came down. I carried, brought her to our living room and was praising God.

A little while later, I took her back to the bedroom, laid her on the bed and asked her, “Chellam, is Jesus still here?”

She looked around and said, “No amma, He is gone!”

My baby has been perfectly fine ever since!

I am completely at a loss for words. My heart is overjoyed and overwhelmed. I’m just totally amazed how God has taken my desire so seriously. I strongly believe that Jesus abides in our hearts and home. But for KT to actually see Him walk into our house and touch her – it’s an out-of-the-world feeling!

jairus_daughterHe took her by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum!” (which means “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”). Immediately the girl stood up and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). At this they were completely astonished. Mark 5:41,42

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8
